While this one might be a "table" loom, it's not at all portable... it dates (near as I can tell) from the '60's, is heavy even with the frames removed - probably all steel and oak 1"x4" construction, and as awkwardly-shaped as a tetris piece. It's a wonder I got it into the Auld Grey Mare (Ford Escort hatchback) to bring it home three years ago.
I'm just twitchy, because I'm borrowing a little 18 inch fold-up 4 harness Wolf Pup from a friend who's not able to use it right now (and loving it), and got a sale notice for an 8-harness that's as wide as the beast AND with 10 treadles (such a huge step up from none whatsoever).
